Every Test Point Read.Every Rectifier on Time.

Corrosion control is thousands of readings on dozens of intervals: annual surveys, rectifiers six times a year, bonds, coupons and atmospheric inspections every three years. X3 Pipeline Corrosion holds every reading against its criterion and every inspection against its limit.

The Exposure

The Reading Was Low. It Sat in a Spreadsheet Until the Next Survey.

A technician records a test point at −780 mV and moves on. The spreadsheet does not flag it, nobody opens a remediation, and the same low reading shows up a year later, next to a rectifier that missed two of its six checks.

The readings were taken. Nobody turned the low one into a repair.

X3 Intelligence

Every Reading Against Its Criterion. Every Interval Against Its Limit.

List your test stations, rectifiers, bonds and exposed spans once. X3 checks each reading the moment it is entered and keeps every inspection on its PHMSA interval.

CP survey

Pipe-to-soil readings checked against −850 mV, polarized potential or a 100 mV shift, with low readings flagged on entry.

Rectifiers

Output volts and amps six times a year, with the 2½-month limit counted for each unit.

Bonds

Critical interference bonds on the same six-a-year cycle, the rest every year.

Atmospheric

Exposed spans, casings and splash zones inspected every three years, 39 months at most.

Internal

Coupons and probes twice a year, and internal surfaces examined whenever pipe is removed.

Remediation

Every deficiency gets an owner and a correction date the same day it is found.

A low reading is not a record. It is the start of a repair.

Corrosion program

One Program. Every Reading in Its Place.

From the reading to the repair

List. Read. Flag. Remediate. Prove.

X3 follows a reading from the test station to the corrected deficiency and keeps the record for the life of the pipe.

  1. 01

    List your stations

Test stations, rectifiers, bonds, coupons and exposed spans, by system and milepost.

  2. 02

    Enter the readings

Type them in the field or import a survey file with the template built into the import button.

  3. 03

    See what fails

Every reading short of its criterion is flagged the moment it is saved.

  4. 04

    Open the remediation

The deficiency gets an owner and a correction date.

  5. 05

    Keep the interval

Next due dates are set from the reading date on the PHMSA interval.

  6. 06

    Prove it

Readings and remediation stay with the station for the inspector.

A survey is finished when the last low reading is fixed.

Where X3 Pipeline Corrosion Fits

One Loop. X3 Pipeline Corrosion Owns Part of “See”.

Nine products, five stages, one job each. X3 Pipeline Corrosion helps answer one question for your pipeline: which mile is at risk, and why? Use it on its own, or add the products on either side of it when that job matters.

Your Part

X3 Flags the Reading. Your Technicians Decide the Remedy.

Corrosion control needs qualified judgement. Four things stay with your team.

Choose the criterion

Your procedure sets which criterion each station is measured against.

Take accurate readings

Instant-off, IR drop and reference cell care stay with your technicians.

Decide the remedy

Anode beds, rectifier adjustment or coating repair is your call.

Keep it qualified

CP work is a covered task: the person reading must hold the qualification.

The Outcome

Every Low Reading Has a Repair Behind It.

A corrosion program on X3 is a set of readings that meet criteria, a list of deficiencies being fixed and every interval inside its limit.

Read it.

Every station and rectifier on its interval.

Flag it.

Low readings caught the moment they are saved.

Fix it.

Every deficiency owned and closed with proof.

Why per mile. Pipeline work grows with miles of pipe: patrols, test stations, valves, leak surveys and assessments all scale with the system. So X3 Pipeline is priced per regulated mile. Every product has a monthly minimum that covers your first 100 miles, because every operator carries the same fixed work whatever its size: written procedures, an OQ program, an emergency plan and annual reports. Each mile after that adds a small amount. All nine products cost about four times one, so running the whole loop is the better deal, and paying for a year gets you twelve months for the price of ten.

Prices in US dollars. Subscriptions renew each month or year until cancelled.

Straight Answers

Questions Operators Ask About X3 Pipeline Corrosion.

Have one that is not here? Ask X3, or write to us and a person will answer.

Which CP criteria does X3 check?
The −850 mV criterion (with current applied or polarized) and the 100 mV polarization shift, set per station in line with your written procedures and NACE SP0169.
Can technicians enter readings in the field?
Yes. The screens work on a phone or tablet, and a whole survey can be imported from a spreadsheet with the template built into the import button.
Does it cover hazardous liquid lines?
Yes. Part 195 corrosion intervals and records are handled the same way as Part 192.
Do I have to buy all nine products?
No. X3 Pipeline Corrosion works on its own. Each product owns one job, and you add another when that job matters to you. The command center brings together whichever products you have.
How do I start?
Create your account, describe your pipeline systems once in Company Setup, then add X3 Pipeline Corrosion (or all nine products) to your plan. Your company starts empty and every screen tells you what to do first.
